Brisbane City Council residents:

Should your project require structural engineering and you need to have the plans drafted, please let us know so we can refer you to one of our trusted local Structural Engineering providers. We recommend submitting your Brisbane City Council Building Application through a private Certifier. 

Ipswich City Council residents:

Rycan Retaining and Earthworks can now provide an all-inclusive service. We can organise the engineering plans, soil test (if applicable), ICC Building Approval application and Certification. If you are interested in this service, please let us know so we can provide further information.

When installing a retaining wall there are a few building and council laws you need to abide by, especially concerning the proximity of the wall to other structures and the height of the wall itself. These factors will generally determine whether you will require engineering, council building approval, certification or a council relaxation.
Access points and the size of them, to the project area, can determine what machinery we can use to carry out your project and ultimatley determine what kind of material we can use.
